Malnutrition Treatment

We treat infants and toddlers for severe acute malnutrition (“wasting”) with Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) produced in our Haitian factory. In Haiti, we support over a dozen clinics and train nurses and save lives.

School Feedings

MFK is the sole producer of Vita Mamba, a supplemental food for school children that reduces the risk of malnutrition and anemia. Vita Mamba improves classroom engagement and improves nutritional health for children in need.

Prenatal Supplementation

In partnership with Haitian prenatal clinics, MFK prevents malnutrition in pregnant and breastfeeding mothers to improve child development in the first 1,000 days. Mothers also learn about nutritious foods and breastfeeding.

Agricultural Development

We train Haitian farmers to improve the quality and yield of their peanut crops. By supporting local farmers, food systems are strengthened and families benefit from greater access to nutritious food.

Economic Development

MFK employs nearly 100 Haitians to manage factory operations and programs. By keeping our work in Haiti, we interrupt the cycle of poverty. Our team boosts the local economy and creates meaningful change in the fight against hunger.
