What We Do
Doing Aid Differently
Meds & Food for Kids uses a holistic, locally led approach to end the cycle of poverty and hunger in Haiti.
Infant eating MFK’s Plumpy’Nut
Malnutrition Treatment
We treat infants and toddlers for severe acute malnutrition with Plumpy’Nut, a therapeutic food produced in our Haitian factory. In Haiti, we support over a dozen clinics and train nurses to save the lives of malnourished children.
Schoolchild eating MFK’s Vita Mamba
School Feedings
MFK is the sole producer of Vita Mamba, a supplemental food for school children that reduces the risk of malnutrition and anemia. Vita Mamba improves classroom engagement and improves nutritional health for children in need.

Agricultural Development
We train Haitian farmers to improve the quality and yield of their peanut crops. By supporting local farmers, food systems are strengthened and families benefit from greater access to nutritious food.

Economic Development
MFK employs nearly 100 Haitians to manage factory operations and programs. By keeping our work in Haiti, we interrupt the cycle of poverty. Our team boosts the local economy and creates meaningful change in the fight against hunger.
